My mattress, the iComfort 4000, was delivered 3 1/2 weeks ago and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's everything I hoped it would be! I got the plush, ultimate cooling. I've always been a side sleeper and due to hip issues was no longer able to sleep on either side. With my new mattress, I can finally sleep on my side again!! It's so incredibly comfortable and worth every penny! Thank you, Serta!

Great mattress. One thing, I'm 6'6" and 220 pounds. They will tell you the mattress won't dent "unless you're just enormous". Sooo. You have to flip it. I'm enormous apparently. After a few months the a dent that does go away but it does have to be flipped like a normal mattress. But it's an awesome mattress. We have garden variety aches and pains. Knee pain from old sports injuries. Nothing degenerative. FYI

I purchased the Serta iComfort 11" Flippable Queen Mattress at Sam's in Mooresville, NC because the 12" pillowtop Serta Mattress that I had, I put on the bed in the guest bedroom because I wanted a flippable mattress. I like the iComfort but had no idea that it would be longer than my 12' pillowtop mattress and that the fitted sheets wouldn't fit the 11" iComfort. It's harder to make the bed due to it being long and difficult for my hands to be able to reach between the headboard and footboard making the bed and have had a few bruises.

Our mattress has been good to us these past 7 years (purchased May 2015)
The indentations from our body are Now causing us to wake with sore hips.
It's said that one should be replaced every 7 or so years. It's Time.

This mattress is so heavy and unweidy that we cannot move it down from the headboard to make the bed. Also, it is so firm that I put a foam topper on and it still is too firm for us to sleep without pain. The box springs that I bought with it left such a space between the mattress and the boxspring that the sheets would not stay tucked in and kept coming out. It is the worst bed I have ever owned and we would like to have it replaced..

Wonderful! Not too hard and not too soft. I bought a foam mattress off Amazon but it was too firm. This one is pricier but perfect -- I am a side sleeper and it's soft enough for me to sleep on my side, but still firm enough to support me. I put an extra mattress pad on top and it's perfect. I highly recommend the iComfort. I have the LE edition and I got it on sale for a great price.

I don't care what the salesman tells you, this mattress has not lived up to its promise, and it starts sinking in the first 6 months. Our backs and necks hurt. We have rotated it, tried different settings on the adjustable base, tried different pillows. The integrity becomes compromised and sinks in where you lay. It's no longer supportive, but it bounces back when no pressure is applied, so they won't cover it under warranty. It absolutely does not keep you in proper sleeping position when you lay on it. Worst purchase ever, and we're still paying on it. Buyer beware before you make this much of an investment.

This mattress is wonderful! We originally got it for our guests, but once my husband and I tried it out we knew we will need to get one for ourselves. It is the perfect compromise for us, even though we have different needs and wants in a mattress. The CF1000 Medium is extremely comfortable and supportive without being too soft, and appears very well made. We are hopeful this will last a long time! Thank you, Serta!

We sold our house furnished so of course I wanted another icomfort. We loved our previous mattress, it was like getting into a new bed every night and after 6 years it was still perfect. The new icomfort is horrible, feels lumpy, the edges lack support so if close to the edge it feels like you'll fall off, terrible on pressure points. I wake up with hip pain everyday. After 17 nights of poor sleep were replacing the CF1000 medium. Unfortunately bought at a furniture store with no return policy. Makes no sense, if Serta accepts returns it should also accept from a furniture store.

Very comfortable bed. I have this mattress in 2 of my guest bedrooms and my son's bedroom. They are very comfortable and durable. When I have family and friends that visit, they always compliment on how well they sleep along with how comfortable the mattresses are.

Spent 1800 on this .If you are a back sleeper and like to sleep on a Board get it .If your anything else pass on this mattress been trying to get that great night's rest for the pass 6 months toss and turn . Shoulder pain hip pain gotten worse with this Mattress . Now have to pay 150 dollars for a topper that I shouldn't even have to do . Thanks for the Plank kuz that's all it is ..

I give the iComfort CF 1000 Medium mattress a "3" because it is well-made and sturdy and will probably last for years. I have no problem with the quality of the product. But my husband and I are basically using this mattress as a glorified boxspring now because to our bodies it is as hard as a brick! I have learned that bedding is an incredibly individualized experience, so I'm not suggesting our story will be true for everyone. But I am sharing this in case some other people like us can be better informed.
I am 5' 3" and 125 lbs. and my husband is 6' and 220 lbs. This Medium mattress was recommended as something that would be soft enough for me but firm enough for him. WRONG. We have had it for nearly 4 months, and it has been a painful 4 months. Initially, we tried to give it time, to let the memory foam adjust to our bodies, and my husband thought it would work OK for him. But over time he developed extreme hip and lower leg pain -- to the point that he went to the doctor, fearing he had circulatory problems. From day one, the mattress felt like sleeping on a board for me. I had so much hip pain that I added a 2" memory foam topper to my side of the bed to make it minimally workable, though I still got up every morning with general aches and pains, particularly in my hips. My husband eventually added the 2" topper to his side, too, making it a little better for him. But we were NOT feeling good. We felt like we were aging fast. And we were NOT happy with the memory foam feel.
We were about to give up entirely, donate the mattress, and start from scratch, but we decided to try one more thing after reading about latex mattress toppers to soften and transform the feel of a mattress. We ordered a 3" soft natural latex topper and put it on top of the 2" memory foam topper we already had on the bed. EUREKA! We slept like babies. The latex has the soft give along with just the right amount of support on pressure points. For the first time in four months, we woke up without pain. So, as I said earlier, the iComfort mattress in now our hard-as-a-brick boxspring, with the memory foam and latex toppers being our mattress.
Bottom line: As far as we're concerned, natural latex is the way to go. The next time we purchase a mattress, it will be latex. Period. Lesson learned.

We tested the CF1000 medium at a local retailer and it was just the right firmness--soft but still supportive--and we placed our order. The mattress arrived today and it definitely is not a medium. It is very firm. We are disappointed but we will keep the mattress. I'm recommending this mattress but be aware that it is a firm mattress.

The bed is rated a 5 on the firmness scale, however it feels more like a 2. We recently bought this bed hoping to alleviate back, hip and shoulder pain. After trying the bed for nearly 3 weeks, I feel my shoulder and hip pain has worsened. I've been told the bed will take some time to break in but I am not willing to see how much softer it might get. I will say, the bed does a great job with no motion transfer and is not a hot bed to sleep on.

This iComfort CF1000 Medium Serta Queen mattress has been a nice change from my last mattress. It is Medium in firmness but I would say it is a true firm mattress not medium. When my husband gets on I have little to no movement on my side which is nice so he doesn't disturb me when he comes to bed. It is cooling, but I feel the same as my normal old mattress, maybe because of my sheets. It needs to air out when it arrives so don't expect to sleep on it the first night, but after that it was all good. I sleep on it well every night now. It fits normal queen sheets, it doesn't need a box spring, we have it on a platform bed with no problems. Overall a high quality firm matress.

This bed is very comfortable. It's firmer than I prefer, but despite this, I sleep well on it. The mattress is light, which made it easy to set up. It has held up well for a month and is still very supportive. I would recommend it. My husband is over 300 pounds, and it is comfortable for him. He doesn't get lost in the foam.

I am always hot. I for sure notice I'm not feeling as hot during the night with this bed. It's soft but definitely on the firmer side for a medium support. I feel completely supported in any position and my partner doesn't bother me as much with his moving. I am comfortable on my side or my stomach and that's amazing! I dont wake up with hip pain from sleeping on my side like I did with my other mattress. I am very pleased with the comfort level of this bed and I recommend to everyone!

We got a queen size version of the CF1000 in Medium a few months ago and have been really happy with it. This replaced our Nectar mattress because it provides a little more support and sleeps a lot cooler. I usually have issues with foam mattresses because of the higher temperatures but this CF1000 has been great at keeping me cool at night. Finally, another thing I really appreciated was that it was delivered in full size so we did not have to wait for it to expand for a couple of days and then dispose of all of the excess packaging.

This mattress has been a godsend! For the last 20 years I have struggled with chronic debilitating back pain. I would always feel my worst just after waking up in the morning due to sleeping on a poor quality mattress. I finally was able to gather the means to get a new one and this mattress has changed my life. I am able to get up out of bed without pain medication anymore and I am able to walk for more than a few minutes at a time! It's just the right amount of firmness and softness needed to support an aching back. I recommend this to anyone who has struggled with chronic unrelieved back pain!

I was greatly looking forward to receiving this mattress as I wanted something a little less firm than what I was using. What a disappointment! When I initially put it on my frame it seemed incredibly firm but decided to give it a chance. What a mistake. It was quite literally like sleeping on concrete. It was supposed to be a medium firmness mattress but had zero give and I'm not a tiny person. It took every ounce of effort I had to roll over because my body was so stiff after using for just one night. It looks nice and is well made but unless you want to wake up stiff as a board I don't reccomend this matress.

This bed has been such a huge comfort - in more ways than just the obvious. In addition to being a medium firmness, which I find most comfortable, this bed is affordable and durable. As someone who moves a lot, I appreciate that it is foam through and through and I don't have to worry about damage to the inside when I'm moving. I love the cooling feature! It has a cooling cover. The cover is nice. I like how it is quilted, but doesn't feel hot. There is a layer of memory foam that is specially created to help with cooling, too. I have been impressed by how little movement I feel when I'm sleeping (like when kids or my husband get in or out of the bed in the middle of the night). Really, it is next to none. This mattress helps me to have a less disturbed sleep than ever before. I am a side sleeper and I used to have trouble with tossing and turning and limbs falling asleep during the night. I am not having these issues with this mattress. I am waking up refreshed every.single.morning. The consistently good night's sleep is so important to me! I highly recommend this mattress to someone who prefers a medium firmness.

I got this as a medium and it is harder then my hard mattress i replaced this with but while it is hard once you lay on it you kinda melt into it and its soooo comfortable. Im shocked at just how amazing this is. Ive had insomnia for over a year and this mattress has cured it! I literally sleep soooo good. Its amazing and now that im moving downstairs to my own room im giving my husband our old mattress and im taking this mattress and will get amazing sleep which i need seeing as im about to have a newborn. Ill need all the sleep i can get!
HIGHLY Recommend this mattress! I will say when the guys brought it It smelled horrible. it smelled like Propane. But after 8 hours of it sitting there with the window open it didnt smell anymore. but the smell was def. strong!

I absolutely love this mattress! It's amazingly comfortable! My husband and I are both competitive cyclists and we both train hard through the week and our muscles are achy and our bodies fatigued so we need a mattress that provides good support while being comfortable. Let me just say, this mattress provides that support and comfort! It's super comfy! It's not too firm nor too soft. It's just right! We both sleep very well on this mattress and wake up feeling well-rested. Its also a cooler type mattress. My husband is hot-natured and this mattress keeps him cool! I feel like this mattress is very well made and is very comfortable and seems to be very durable. I highly recommend it!

I knew looking at the I Comfort 1000 medium.Mattress,was something I was very interested like most people I checked out the firmness when I sat down,I have a lot of permanent injuries and i dont want to hurt more than i already do,I was able to sit down,The Mattress was firm but it still made me feel comfortable.I received this sample from tryit sampling.The Sample was called C.F. 1000 MEDIUM.I had less space to bend down and ,Im 5ft 1 inch,I was able to get myself up/down very easy,I could not find any material mistakes before I decided to keep it.This Mattress is a great addition to my home.

This bed is the bed for my guest bedroom, but I've slept on it myself for a good amount of nights and although it took about 3 nights to full settle in and sleep well, this bed is still a bit too firm for my and my husbands particular enjoyment, but nonetheless, we have slept on it comfortable for about a week and still chose it over our bed a few times. I know the guest I have coming in soon will really enjoy their nights sleep in it. Its got great support and it is comfortable but I don't find it a true medium, would love it to be plusher. I will probably end up getting a mattress topper.

This mattress is the perfect balance of firm and soft that I was looking for. I can't sleep on a mattress that is too firm or too soft and this definitely split them both down the middle. As soon as I laid in the bed and got into a snug position, I already felt cool and comforted. Fast forward to the first week of sleeping in the bed, I am sleeping much better, have less tossing and turning, sink in just enough to feel hugged but just firm enough to not sink all the way in. The mattress is very light and easy to move and maneuver. This also helps to relieve all tension in my neck and back due to the support the mattress has.
You will notice a big difference in the way you fall asleep and stay asleep. When you feel cool, I feel your body adjusts much better to it's surroundings and this iComfort does just that. I also do not feel my partner when he moves or when my daughter climbs into the bed. It is perfect for me and I am happy I can sleep much better. This is a very high quality mattress and I highly recommend if you want the comfort and support of a medium firm mattress!

I really like the cooling feature I think it helps keep me asleep. I switched from a budget memory foam mattress to this. It's a little firmer then my last mattress but, I seem to sleep well through the night I use to Wake up mid night sweeting on my previous mattress.The cooling feature put an end to that so far. This mattress supports my body really well and I think it's helped my back I kept getting pinched nerves which was uncommon for me until we switch to the budget memory foam mattress since switching to this mattress I no longer seem to have those issues. Over all I think it's a great quality mattress.

This mattress is perfect! I need a mattress with a fair amount of firmness to support my back due to a prior back injury but I crave a little plush and softness as well and honestly just can't sleep on a super firm mattress. I have a hard time finding a mattress that is a really good balance of firm and plush. I think this mattress fits that bill. When you lay down you sink a bit and then it catches you and it's perfect. I felt supported while also hugged. The cover on the mattress itself is soft terry cloth like material and I'm almost sorry I need to use a sheet because it's so soft itself. The cover does have a zipper on the underside so I assume it could be removed for cleaning if desired though I have not tried that. I got a queen size and it is true to size. It seems like normal depth-- I put normal pocket sheets on it and it fit well. It is super light as well, so it was easy to move and get in place where desired ( we weren't quite ready when the delivery came so had to finish moving it ourselves). I was actually surprised at how light it is, my 17 year old and I were able to easily move it by ourselves without issue. Overall I would recommend this mattress for multiple reasons but especially if you are looking for what is truly a medium firm mattress because I think this is probably the best I have ever slept on when it comes to that.

This mattress is amazing. Love it very much. It is firm but after about two nights sleep you could feel it loosing a bit and relaxing to my body. I don't feel when my husband gets up in the middle of the night and he has mentioned I don't appear to be moving around so much at night. I am definitely going to bed quicker and more relaxed in the morning with minimal pain.

We got this bed because we was looking for something with support that was medium firmness. This iComfort bed is the medium support and it actually feels like the firm support of most mattresses. If I would have bought this mattress in store I would have gotten soft or even extra soft. Other then that the quality of this mattress is great. Very well made an very well put together.

I didn't think my old mattress was really that bad until I got the new Serta mattress. For starters it is just beautiful and feels so good to the touch and fits my bed frame perfectly. I have the medium it is a little firmer then I expected but it really just conforms to my body and is super comfy. I love that I can move around on this mattress without disturbing my husband and vice versa, there is no smell, no noise it just adjusts to my body position. I sleep a little cooler too which is a huge plus for me. It provides great support for my body and I wake up feeling good and not at all sore, like with my old mattress. It is well made, not a stitch out of place, solid and so comfortable. The mattress is a bit more on the firmer side so if you like your mattress soft then I would recommend testing the mattress in the store with your partner. I almost hated putting a mattress protector on it because it just looks so cool. haha Definitely pleased with this mattress.

I love this I comfort cf 1000 mattress!!!!
I have a hard time sleeping if it is to warm or the mattress is not comfortable. I was so tired all the time, went to the Dr even because I was so tired all the time. He suggested I may not be getting the restful sleep I need. After checking out this I comfort I decided to try it. I have been sleeping so well, I wake up feeling well rested and ready for the day. It is a very well made and super comfortable mattress. I have the medium support and it's just perfect. I would say to anyone looking for a new mattress to try the I comfort cf 1000.

I have a medium firm mattress that is equally soft and strong. I can move around without waking anyone up because my movements doesn't affect anyone else. I sleep through the night and I don't have to worry about back pain or anything like that. I sleep very comfortably and can go to sleep instantly.

I slept on the Serta iComfort CF1000 medium.
It has a firm feel to it. After laying on it, it took me about an hour to appreciate the support it gives to the back.
Ive always slept on a soft mattress, so its different but i like the control it has on my body. Your body just fits into the memory foam without you slumping in. I sleep correctly now and feel less back pain i would normally have. After one week, ill never go back to a soft mattress because i realize i wasnt getting the back support i needed.

My son absolutely loves it and everything from delivery to setting it up was easy! I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone! It's a medium but it's soft without being too soft. Everything about it is perfect.

With my old mattress I always had trouble sleeping sometimes I woke up tired and did not know the reason until I discovered how important it is to have a good mattress, I noticed the difference from the first day I received it is soft and fits perfectly to the body to provide a good rest is incredible as I could rest all night without waking up until the morning, also has a protector with closure that makes it very easy to wash it, I really sleep much better.

Serta's iComfort CF1000 mattress contains gel that made my sleep comfortable and cooling. I have scoliosis, so I'm happy that I got this mattress because of how well it supports my back. Overall I love this mattress and happy I got it.
